A little traditional restaurant with really nice staff, if you are looking for a quiet place to eat good traditional food. The hospitality is astonishing and prices are very good, make a stop there before heading to Rethymnon, it's worth it!

My husband and I ate here during our local stay. The owners ensured that we had everything that we wanted or needed; they were so hospitable and kind we will be dining there as much as we can. The prices were very good compared to everywhere else we have eaten, and the food was devine! All of their vegetables and herbs come from their garden, and the meat, and the meat, cheese, yogurt and wine are all local as well. The food is all authentic, and I have never tasted anything so fresh and savory. I ate chicken in white wine sauce, with peppers and fried potatoes. Bread, dessert and talk were included on the house as well. This is the best place we have eaten while in Crete so far! Definitely a must.
Just WOW! Super crazy nice people and the food was just delicious! If you are looking for authentic food (& prices) then I would recommend Lefete hands down.

It's the small local tavern I've visited in Crete. I have no words to tell how we liked it. Everything is best - owners, meal, hospitality, cordiality...It is the place I would return again ana again there. Thanks a lot and regards from all family!
If you like to taste 100 % of authenticity - please go there. For meals with beer for two people we paid what we have paid in Rethymno for one person. And it was twice as good as in the city! It is worth going up into the hill from Panormo or even Rethymno.
