Small and convenient airport but the staff can be picky on individual weights of bag though your overall weight is within the limit. Being small flights things move relatively fast so if you don't have a check-in bag, 45min before is enough.

Decent for a small island, but.. needs maintenance. Needs staff as there are air controllers missing. Needs to expand to accept 150 passenger airplanes. Needs ight flights.
Flight is at 18:00. And this airport even didn’t open until 16:15
Small airport, all the basics are covered but not much in the way of anything special.
I like flying from here because it is so quiet. Avoids the huge queues at places like Rhodes. Nice little cafe as well.
The airport offers the best meteorological service
Getting past security for a 30 people flight can still be painful. Luckily, it's not busy, otherwise it'd be chaos. Location is great, almost walking distance from Adamantas.
We took a flight out of Milos two days ago and they checked in our bags and everyone's from our flight, but they didn't load them on the plane!! They never told us they were doing this and we only found out after waiting 45 mins at the baggage claim in Athens that there were no bags loaded on the plane. The lost luggage customer service was terrible and they had no information about our bags or when they would arrive. There were 2 other flights from Milos to Athens that day, but they didn't put our bags on those flights either. We had another flight to Rome that evening and now have been in Rome two days without bags!!! Do not fly in or out of Milos!!! Take the ferry! We were told later that it is common practice that they don't take the luggage! It's unbelievable and a crime not to tell the passengers and to just confiscate our luggage, in effect. They never even gave us a reason! They ended up sending the luggage by ferry the next day to Athens. But we are in Rome and as of yesterday we still had no news, no one ever called or emailed us, as they said they would. We called over and over and no one in Greece or Italy could tell us where our bags were or when they would arrive. A stressful and truly terrible experience! The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. The Milos airport knew they were not going to load the bags and did not inform the passengers. Take a ferry, even if it's longer, it will save you time and the headache and stress in the long run.
