You need to visit this place when staying in the area! Just loved how the husband and wife led the taverna, taking good care of their quests, welcoming you as a friend. Other staff was also so attentive and caring and friendly. I don't know what was that amazing white cheese they serve as a welcoming snack but I'm just crazy about that. We went back to this place for 3x during our 1 week trip. Food was so good, especially octopus. Also, the Greek evenings - what a show! I just laughed at the show they did on Wednesday evening, it was so funny! Well done!

A great lunch with friends, in a typical Greek family tavern. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, and you can follow any of their recommendations, you will not be disappointed. They also serve an excellent white wine, one of the best ones on Crete (in our humble opinion). A lot of complimentary food as well. The culinary trip through Greek cuisine was indeed a great success!

We have been at White Lady couple of times at our two visit at Crete in last decade. Always very warm welcome from owners and servers. Food is prep with heart and love, you need to wait until is ready, but this is really delucious and outstanding quality, not only that it is value for price what you paid for it. Highly recomended to visit, restaurant it is easy located in town centre and walking distance to nearest seaside. Definetly we will come back for sure, see you soon!
This excellent Taverna has been run by the same family for thirty years. we have frequenting the White Lady every few years for twenty year and it is still the best in the area. Prices right, food excellent and good atmosphere. Now the next generation are cooking and waiting on table. Well worth visiting for breakfast, bar meze and for dinner. Enjoy..... thank you White Lady for a lovely birthday lunch
The hosts create an absolutely fantastic atmosphere! Good food, big portions. If you come later in the evening there will be some live music. Make sure you have a couple of hours, because this place is not for those who in hurry.
