We walked to the museum from Lakki port, it took 45 min going slow in the sun! We were about 45 minutes inside, but war is not a big interest of ours so we were fast. Then we shared a taxi returning to Lakki. It was interesting to see the several tunnels and many artifacts from WWII; they did a good job with the displays and explanations written in Greek and English. Would definitely recommend a visit if you have time! (We stayed a week on Leros in September 2019.)

A good Museum to learn more about the WWII on Leros. Here a big battle take place between Germany and the England/french troops. There are many old artefacts (guns, projectiles, bikes, machines). But you have to pay for all the this. You can watch a 10 minute movie there too about the war on Leros.

Very nice place to visit and interesting items to look at from the war. Cheap entrence, 3. Easy parking and lovely welcome from the girl who was working there. The visit does not take more than 30-60 minutes.

I always shudder at the thoughts of War and this museum located in tunnels under the Earth will certainly remind you of a very Vivid and somewhat ugly history of WW1 here on Leros. Well worth the visit if you have the interest.
