This is a family run business where you get a genuine greek traditional experience, it is the best if not the best restaurant we have ever been to! The food is delicious, the service is impeccable and the garden is just amazing. The prices are good too, overall we were extremely satisfied and we will definitely return to this hidden gem!

Great atmosphere, but the food is not too special. Unfortunately, the lamb souvlaki was quite chewy. However, they serve free dessert or alcohol.
Quiet garden setting off a side street with great food and service. Would highly recommend. The moussaka was delicious.
Step away from the tourist traps by the waterside (unless you are only in the area for a couple of days) and step inside Avli where you are transported to a Cretan village for traditional cooking and friendly service.
Food was excellent. Traditional style taverna. Friendly young man waited on us. Would go back.
Delicious Greek food , excellent service I loved the grilled feta cheese, prawns saganaki, bekri meze ...they offered us excellent raki after dinner and ice cream/cake on the house

Nice place to have dinner. Very good staff and beautiful Greek atmosphere. Getting a big bottle of Ouzo for free after dinner. For everyone.
