The tour on the Estate, lead by George, was super. The six old olive trees, 1200 till 1500 years old, are very impressive. The estate itself felt like a Garden of Eden. The avocadotrees and the peachtrees had big fruits hanging on the branches. The garden gave us energy. Also the history of the family - 22 generations - is impressive. The tour culminated in a tasting of three kinds of olive-oil: a mix of green and purple (black) olives, a spicy one (from trees in the mountain) and a special one: Early Harvest, an early pitch. Never knew that tasting olive oil was about the same as tasting wine. First warming the oil in a small glass in your hand up, tha rooling in the glass and a small zip rolling in your mouth left and right, under your tongue, breath some extra air in and swallow. And that with a small tomato or bread or fêta. The three tasts where different but also fantastic. We bougth two bottles: the mixed and the mointain one. We had a wonderful and very impressive tasting of high quality olive oil with George. You can feel that George loves his profession and is one of the friendliest Greek we ever met.
Great place to buy very good olive oil, soap and creme which is produced by Cretanthos. The owner was extremely kind and let us try different kinds of oil. Furthermore he gave us a tour of the garden where there are several olive trees which are 1200 years old. Definitely worth going!
We made a tour there and the owner it self was there for us! He is very friendly and willingly to share he’s knowledge. We had a unique experience in olive oil tasting and touring in their state. We bought the Bio Early Harvest olive oil and we learn how to use it correctly ( yes there is a very specific way to do it ). We totally recommend them for their products and their services!

The owner was very kind with us when we visit Cretanthos establishment. We taste the Cretanthos mountain farming olive oil and it was absolutely amazing. We totally recommend the company and their products!
It was really a beautiful experience to be so close to threes who are older than 1800 years and tasting olive oil of such a high standard. With respect for these threes we are sitting there and tasted the olive oil. Mister Yorgos Crethantos show us the way to tast his olive oil in many ways: with bread, cheese, tomatoes and even with chocolate. The Crethantos olive oil makes in combination with this tastes new tastes. A wonderful experience for us all. Ευχαριστούμε παρά πολλοί.
Do yourself and your family a favour and get this majestic olive oil in your house! It's liquid gold and top of its quality, full of antioxidants so I'd recommend to use it raw for your salads and dressings. You can taste the heart and soul of the people behind its making who are utterly committed and are truly there for every step of its production. It didn't get to be at the top by chance, that's why it lives in my kitchen in Australia ;)
