Awesome rental experience. Linda and Thanassis were highly professional. I ended up having a wreck and blowing out two tires. Thanassis took time out of his Sunday to drive out and help repair the rental. Talk about customer service. The bike they rented me was also great quality and perfect for hills. Would highly recommend these guys. They rock!
Best bikes and best service! We have been using Hellas Bike nearly every year since 1999, and it has been a pleasure, for me and my family. I have been on nearly all their trip's, and also I have taken with me friends to try it, and they have enjoyed it. The last 10-15 years me and my wife have bin renting bikes from Hellas Bike, and explored Crete on our own. We have bin using their bike's for 100's of kilometers, and the bikes have been absolutely perfect! The host's of Hellas Bike Linda and Thanassis, have allways taken good care of the bike's, so we have no complains what so ever. I would recommend this company the higest 5-star, and also I wil recommend everyone who like biking to try out Hellas Bike!
I hired a KTM road bike from Hellas Bikes July/August 2019 for 4 days. The price was very reasonable and included delivery and collection to my hotel as well as helmet, repair kit, etc. The delivery and collection went well and the guy who delivered the bike (sorry I did not get his name) was really helpful, giving me 2 good routes to try - both turned out to be really nice although relatively hard with a lot of climbing but hat is exactly what I wanted and expected. He even warned me of patches where the recent rains had made the road "bumpy". The bike was really well set up. A really good 4 days cycling and many thanks to Hellas Bikes. Kevan
I rented a road bike from Hellas Bike in July 2019 and I was fully satisfied with the service. The bike was in good condition, properly equipped, and delivered directly to my place in a small village. Delivery and pick up were done on the agreed schedule, and everything was quick & easy. I will for sure rent from Hellas Bike again next time I go to Crete!
So easy to rent a road bike here for a full week to ride up the mountains of Chania. Communication, courtesy and professionalism.
Our Paleochora day tour was great, our good humoured guide was full of knowledge, learnt a lot about trees, herbs, produce, geology, some Cretan history. Nice coffee stop , church visit and again guide knew plenty about it and the town which was destroyed in WW2. Great sea facing but quiet lunch restaurant and time for swim/explore. Constant but unobtrusive Minibus support meant you could bail on the one 1km hill ( or anywhere else)if you wanted. Just a great way to see and learn about Crete off the beaten track. Good well maintained bikes. On our tour we had 6 people looked after by our guide and a driver and were picked up and dropped off at our apartment in Chania.
