The ancient Theater of Elis is is a small theater with a rich history. It is located 6 km west to Pinios Dam and 25 km north to Pyrgos. The theater was built in the 4th century BC and was renovated in Roman times. The theater has hosted a number of local performances in recent years, but is currently temporarily closed. If you arrived till here, don't miss a visit in the beautiful archeological museum of Elis, located 800 m southeast to the theater (300 north to village Archea Ilida).
