Small naval museum with old ship models, photographs, maps and navigation equipment. Beautiful building with great sea and Chora views from windows. A good 15 minutes to spend while strolling to the end of the village.

Good summaries of the periods of Andros' history plus good material on the main sites. Many 'finds' - pottery and statues found on sites. Has the beautiful statue of Hermes found in Palliopoli. Open Tuesday to Sunday. Presentation of material needs refreshing.
Definitely far from a showstopper. If you're into medium scale models of old ships, you will find some interesting stuff to see here. Real life object-wise here there's too little to see. A few nautical costumes, horns, an old teletype. I'm not sure if I can reason with the 3 Euro per adult entrance fee for something this small, short on exhibits and guide-less museum. If you go inside with little to no expectations, you might come out happier than before.
It would be an insult to refer to this small room lightly packed with an amalgam of disorganized memorabilia as a "museum". Better skip.
