Fantastic Olive tour and tasting!! We visited the Androusa Castle and made an Olive tour, through Olive trees and after that in the Olive mill (with olive oil tasting and Greek Mezze). It was fantastic, we really enjoyed it! It was the most special part of our roadtrip through Peloponnese. Dimitra is so friendly and knows everything about olives, olive oil and the history of olive trees and the Androusa castle. She does the tour in a very original way, she showed and told us everything and surprised us in many ways. And after the tour we had a great tasting experience, with olive oil and delicious Greek Mezze! If you have the chance to visit the Olive Routes, you should really contact Dimitra and take a tour! This is a must see/ must do in Peloponnese! We will definately come back for one of the other tours!

I highly recommend 'the olive routes' as the top experience when visiting Messinia. The host 'Dimitra' is super vivid, passionate and profesional. All information about the olive oil tasting is unique.

We had the BEST of times with Dimitria. She had thought of everything, there were great surprises around every corner and she was clearly so passionate and a real expert about her family business, olive and oil. It was a great 4 hours and we learnt so much. Truly unforgettable and inspiring.

Dimitra was a great and very friendly host! It was quite an exciting tour as we had the chance to become familiar with the olive trees and the whole process of producing such a delicious olive oil! We highly recommend to take this tour! It is fun and educational as well!

As you probably already know in a Michelin Guide one star signifies "a very good restaurant", two stars are "excellent cooking that is worth a detour", and three stars mean "exceptional cuisine that is worth a special journey". Olive Routes is not covered by Michelin because they don’t offer 5 stars ratings, but if they do, that would stands for: “phenomanal experience, drop what you plan to do and book a ticket to Kalamata right now” That’s it, I could elaborate how mindful, knowledgeable, humorous and inspiring that tour was for me and my friends but that would only waste your time, which you should spend entarily on booking this trip. Period. Please be aware I will not be not responsible for any life transformations and profession changes so you can spend more time near olive trees.

We had a great time discovering the world of olives and Greek cuisine, professionally and gently guided by Dimitra throughout the tour. Getting the tour, explanations, history and olive tasting directly from a family member of the mill was unique. Dimitra is a born guide and her positive attitude and charm make this a through-and-through positive experience. Would recommend this to anyone!
