There is absolutely not enough place on the airport to manage the amounts of people. After the security check, people from 3 flights at least were simply crammed in a very small area. Add the Covid situation, and you have the best possible scenario: vast amounts of people tightly packed in a room with almost no air conditioning.

This is the most disgusting Airport I have ever travelled to. It is so filthy you need to watch you step. People laying on the floor as there are not enough seats for everyone. There is only one shop with a tiny counter and you have hundreds of people queueing for a drink.. not food because that looks disgusting. Hours to queue for baggage drop. Hours to queue for security check althea wait another hour, standing, to board the plane. Good riddance and never again. It's a 3rd world country. Just go to Turkey people, don't waste your time and don't risk your health.
I have never seen such a chaotic airport. 4 counters for 3 planes to different directions. All people for 1 queue. After 1h they realised that one plane leaves earlier, the big mess started. The staff seems not to have any clue. Information for passengers 0. COVID-19 seems to be unknown or not existant. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Has a lot of potential once modernised! The airport is very small and has a few shops scattered about, to be expected for the size! A lot of the staff were super nice from the check in desk to even on security and the passport check! The airport is very dated but is currently undergoing some well needed renovations! Still a great experience here with no issues! Hopefully be returning soon to see the improvements!
Clearly being upgraded, but it is operating in an unsafe way in terms of social distancing/Covid response. Staff don’t care about keeping order. It is way over capacity with people having to cross paths at all points in the process. Hundreds of people being crammed together in the checkin and security process. No enforcement of mask wearing. Was carnage at the baggage carousel on the way in. This place let’s Kos down, as it had been safe everywhere else.
Tiny airport with nothing inside. Couldn't get any food or drink cause of only one place open with constant horrendous queue. No social distancing possible, amount of people insane, no air or even space to sit on the floor.
Do not expect to be able to do anything at this airport apart from sit on the floor while waiting to board your flight. There is only one place to get something to eat/drink and everyone else is in that queue also, so buy whatever you need before you get here. There’s hardly any seating because they haven’t got it all open. Crammed in like sardines despite a worldwide pandemic. Duty free is smaller than my local post office. Quite honesty the worst airport experience I’ve ever had
Well organised during weird times. Right now airport is under expansion development, so it will get bigger. There are a few shops and restaurants. Everyone from service are kind.
