Wonderful animal shelter! I highly recommend visiting this amazing shelter for some volunteering. I spend a few days helping out in September and was amazed to see with what passion the dogs and cats are cared for. What a paradise with warm hearted people that make you feel welcome even if you just help out for a few hours. I will go back!

A lady doing a fantastic job with around 300 cats and dogs to care for. If you visit give them a donation to help with the costs. It's heartbreaking really but they are well looked after and this is why I would never buy from a breeder. There are so many strays that need a loving home.
Many thanks to Joyce for showing us round on such short notice. Amazing work being done on a shoestring budget. Hundreds of animals being lovingly cared for all day every day. Please give generously to support their efforts.
Please go and visit if your on holiday in Kefalonia. We did and it was lovely to meet some of the people who care for the dogs and cats, a donation is very use full to them ? But you are still welcome to look round even if you had nothing to give. I would have loved to have given one of the animals a home, but at the moment we arnt able too ! May be one day ?

We visited ark last wednesday but unfortunately no one was present. We brought some dog and catfood and left it at the entrance. We fell in love with one dog in particular. It makes us happy that there are people who take such great care for all these lovely cats and dogs. Keep up this fantastic job!
