I ve purchased a number of items from this store. It has a large variety of technical equipment for outdoors activites. The brands are usually premium quality so if you are on a tight budget possibly this is not the place to start from. On the other hand if you are prepared to spend on first quality gear and pay for it and you are looking for a great after sales service then alpamayo is offering this at exceptional levels. Amongst other things (rucksacks, sleepingbags, backpacks, shoes and boots, tents etc) I ve purchased from there was a Stanley thermos. After about a year of every day use a small crack appeared on the cap - making it non-watertight. I asked at the store and there was no replacement cap. They told me to email them a photo of my thermos in order to make sure they can order the correct cap. Withing a few hours after my email I received a response that the cap was waiting for me to pick up. Passed by - tried it on as it was for a more recent model with an improved design and off you go. They did not allow me to pay for it, although most probably the crack was a result of a fall of the thermos and not a material defect which I also told them right from the start. I am very happy with their treatment and although some consider the store as slightly \elitist\ due to the more premium brands and accompanying prices I am happy this store exist in our neighborhood.

It's the second time I've shoped from them during the lock down and I was really impressed with the customer service. On my first order a week ago, I bought a pair of hiking Teva boots, wasn't sure if the size would fit but they had multiple choices if not, such as returning full price etc. Shout out to lovely Mrs. Frantzeska who assisted me in the process of ordering & she was there to meet in person when I picked up the order through the \click away\ choice. Felt safe, they followed every step of the protocol \click away\ system. Today was my second time ordering , keep in mind that its Xmas /holiday season and they informed me that they would deliver within the day!?! (Athens area) And they delivered with a bike!? Shout out to the helpful Mr. Nikos who was the one making the impossible possible. I am really impressed and happy with the people who work at the shop! You are great & memorable! I am hoping that the management is appreciating your devotion to the business. The only egative\ is that some items you sell are a bit pricy than most shops, but as many said before me, you get what you pay for.
