What a great place! GOOD VIBES. I think we ordered the whole menu:) or at least we tried. The food was delicious, everything we tried. The service was fast and polite. Affordable prices and nice sake that you can order by glass.

What can I say? 10/10 or 5 from 5 this place is amazing. Serving outstanding food from japan in an urban way. And the watermelon cocktail was perfect! All dishes were amazing!
Birdman is a great choice to combine drinks and finger-food sized portions following work or a stroll in down-town Athens. Once you manage to bypass menu complexity (due to Japanese elements that might be unfamiliar in first visit) you will experience plenty options of skewers and bowls served in meze/tapas fashion. There might have been some execution mishaps but it was a great experience overall. Don’t forget to ask for possible out-of-menu dishes, we found some gems during our last visit. Friendly service and punctuality of booking is a big plus.
Nice place with good ideas but the service, the food and the wine card is just not working. Some amazing wine on the little list (Ligas) but absolutely nothing cool and fun by the glass, only clean and conservative stuff, very boring. The food is overpriced even if they use fresh and local produce. The finished products in your plate are not as tasty like it should be. The ingredients are the right one but again, it doesn't work. Dry, overcooked, no flavor. The service is impersonal, you are a number. Only the lovely hostess has a smile and seems to have a bit of fun. Forget the bartender and the lined cook, they don't care. Instead make yourself a favor, go at Heteroclyto for your daily fix of natural wine, amazing selection at honest price(also for take away) and then find yourself a proper local bistro outside this area and you'll be happier at the end. Ho! and also, if you would like to buy a bottle there to take away it's the same price as if you drink it there, it doesn't make sense… Sorry guys but sometimes IG is definitely WRONG!
Great, unique place for a delicious break during the day. Central location makes me want to visit this place whenever I'm in town. Fantastic grilled meat with different fresh and original taste. Sandwich Sando with pork and pickled cabbage, also perfectly cooked and so yummy rice that I could eat on its own. Small place but suitable for lunch with your friend or early dinner if you like to make a change from souvlaki :-)Nice music and friendly staff. For sure I will be back. PS. Try plum wine sweet and so aromatic .
Had known of this place for a while and only recently had the opportunity to dine here. On offer are numerous small tapas type of meat dishes, to cater for all meat-eaters tastes. There is a wide variety of small cuts, cooked to perfection. I highly recommend a visit here for those who are not scared to try out something more than a typical filet meat. The only reason for the 4 stars (instead of 5) is because some of the menu options were not available (which, in itself is not a problem - prefer to not have something available vs. having it but not being top quality) and from those that we did sample, the second order was not consistently cooked to perfection as in the first order: was overcooked, so less juicy, less tasty, less fatty, and less volume. Otherwise, this is a must for any self respecting meat eater, especially those who follow a keto diet.
A little treasure in the city center. Birdman is a Japanese pub with high quality food which is affected from Japan. Meat is organic and free ranged and with the combination of Japanese ingredients it is something surprisingly delicious!!! We tasted a lot of dishes and it’s really difficult to decide the best. Although do not miss Katsu and Japanese carbonara!!! We had a great time and we will go back for sure!
Lovely place with a nice selection of natural wines. Only thing is that I chose a bottle of wine from their bar and the waiter didn’t mention that it costed 60 euros. I also work in a wine bar and I think as a rule if a bottle costs more than 30 euros its essential to give a heads up to the client as a matter of principle. Apart from that everything was lovely.
