This is definitely one of the top places for authentic, handmade Persian carpets in Athens. You can find very beautiful carpets in good prices and if lucky enjoy some seasonal deal. The owner is very knowledgeable and has been in the market for 30 years. With lots of shops selling machine-made carpets or fakes as authentic Persian, in Carpet Center you'd be guaranteed to get authentic ones and find some very rare and fascinating designs. I, personally, have purchased a few (2 of them can be seen in the pics) and I would gladly buy more. The shop also offers expert carper cleaning and storing services.
