Nice Orthodox church, at the foot of the hill of Athens ancient Acropolis (Plaka). The whole area is a beautiful and historical one.
Nice old church, quite calming. The interior has obviously been thoroughly renovated and does not feel old. The templon is stunning though.
It was built in 17th century and it has belonged to the Jerusalem Patriarchate since 18th century. The garden and the church are both quite peaceful and isolated from the noisy Plaka. In this place the Holy Light arrives every Easter firstly and then distributed to the whole Greece. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Nice orthodox church. Just see by outside but it is different because it has roof tiles.
This church us so beautiful...when you are in Athens just walk inside...
