Another wonderful piece of Athenian history. You can literally get lost walking around the alleys and admiring all the statues and graves. It has its charm, however it seemed too busy for me to be able to contemplate its greatness in peace.

beautiful place but make sure to wear insect repellent if going in the evening - there were lots of bugs on both my visits

A unique & very Athenian cemetery! Many beautiful & extremely elaborate headstones! Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

How is this not on the Must-See list if Athens? The monuments are simply fantastic. No rush and bustle here. You can take in the beauty to the sound of wind through trees and birds singing

Beautiful and interesting to visit. A historic, quiet place, its good to go for a walk and see the unique tombstones. As it is still actively visit this place with respect.

A stroll around the cemetery is a true memoire to the important Greek figures that shaped Greek history, politics, and culture. The most beautiful cemetery in Athens where you will walk by the graves of Archbishops, Presidents, Ministers, important people of the art, theatre, and cinema. It is worth a visit!

A very ornate cemetery with tombs and tombstones ranging in size from large to small. The cemetery seems to go on for kilometers with many different walk ways, easy to get lost in there but also easy to find your way out. There is only one enterance and exit for this place.

One of the most beautiful cemetaries I've ever seen. Really an astounding g place that puts UK graveyards to shame
