Beautiful building but it is a pity it is only open to students; we went in the morning and were told it will open at 2:00 pm and at that time they will let us in; when we went at 2:00 pm they told us it was only open to students.

A stunning building that houses one of the most important libraries in Greece. It belongs to American School of Classical Studies at Athens. It opened on 23 April 1926 and has more than 138.000 books, many of them very rare. It have been recognized Internationally as a very important study center of Greek Culture. Highly recommended.
