We were here today looking at all the candy and were very impressed with the store and staff. We bought a waffle cone and they made it up right in-front of us. When we went to pay they were having trouble with the till and told us it was a treat for us. We left 10 euro . It might of been a little less but who cares we really enjoyed it. Thinking we might want to do this in Canada it would be a hit.

Honestly. Not a fan if this place, because I do not like this kind of sweets. BUT, the quantity is insane, you can literally find anything. Maybe Hans & Gretel is a gellateria with the biggest quantity. Quality is top notch. Hygiene is below standards though [before COVID-19 measures]. Otherwise this is a must see must eat if you like candies! There is no parking, and you have to go on foot (2-minute walk from Monastiraki sq. Nearby metro station Monastiraki, Lines 1 and 3, and a 5-minute walk from Thissio station, line 1). Cars are not allowed. This is located to the most visited street of the area having dozens of restaurants and hundreds of people especially in summer.
Just a place from heaven. Smells good looks good tastes good and its colorful and full of happiness. Lively and childish (in a very very positive way). Leave the diet outside the shop. Enjoyyy
This store is really neat. They have tons of sweet things to snack on. They cook the sugar cinnamon chimneys out front and they caught our eye. We filled ours with ice cream and got candy added to it. It was very reasonably priced for being there in the place. I would suggest you visit if you are in the area.
It is a pastry shop. The decoration is like a fairytale. I think that the prices for this area is normal because is a touristic area. The service was very quick, as it could be because there were a long queue.

Excellent place for fresh, warm, crispy chimney cake with any fillings your heart desires. Taste is amazing. Helpful, cheerful and appropriately uniformed staff. A small candy house at the back can be used to take photographs with kids and grownups. Strongly recommended.
