The car is fine. It is best to book from your country before coming. This will help you avoid the bad vibes from the grumpy boss aggressing your clerk in Greek. You can plan to return the car at the airport, but beware the hertz car rental return is not indicated anywhere (I just added the location on Google, it might change).

be aware even with full ensurance the company does not covers any damage of broken windows , bottom of the car , and other small details. in my occasion during the night somebody broke in, braking the rear small window. try to steal whatever was in trunk(but it was empty). I had to pay 142 eur. and do paper work for one hour to take different car. the crew is could handle much better the comunication. I regret very much to use Hertz . suggest go with Enterprise or Sixt they cover full endurance !!! with no minimum
Perfect customer service. Very polite and helpful personnel! They assisted me with all my requests even though it was around New Year Eve.
Fast and correct service. I paid with debit card and got back my deposit in 4 days, previously at an other company it took more than a week

Checkout and return were both done very smoothly in spite of the fact that I had a very challenging and unusual return situation. I have rented cars from Hertz for both business and pleasure over the past 37 years. The staff at this location are among the best that I have had the pleasure of dealing with.
Periklis was amazing!! Delt with him during the pick up, went smoothly. During drop off, again perfect. Quick, painless, and easy. Exactly what you what when dealing with a rental. Language was never an issue and entire staff was great!! Thanks!
Extremely rude and impolite staff who don't know how to talk to their customers, don't respect their customers, and make fun of their customers behind their backs. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. You're better off going to a company with staff that actually know a thing or two about customer service.
