We picked this place by chance as it was near our hotel and later found it was recommended by guidebooks. The baklava was packed with nuts and not too sweet. Definitely tasted more like Turkish baklava rather than Greek (which I've found tends to be more sugary.) We selected a variety and were charged by weight, with 7 pieces coming to just over 9. The chocolate and pistachios ones were a highlight.

On Voukourestiou St. I spotted the ATRION Gallery and the name reminds me something in the past. Worth seeing the place.
Bit pricey but was very delicious and tasted authentic ! Worth trying
A nice little café just off the main square. Fantastic sweets and good coffee and tea.
Various types of baklava. I had the walnut one and the pistachio. They were not the most amazing I have had. Maybe not even close. They were quite buttery tasting. The cake soaked with caramel was served with a unique flavor of ice cream, that was interesting enough for a recommendation to try it.
Number one for Baklava. For me.
Angela was most helpful with us! She speaks perfect English and made the best recommendations. She even helped us with packaging to take desserts home on the plane. You must try the “secret ingredient” of this bakery! The legendary ekmek!!!
Just amazing! Super recommend!
