Small museum. Free enterance. It's ok. Two of it's rooms are used for temporary excibitions. The first floor is a museum for the history of the folk \theater of shadows\ (καραγκιοζης) and the second floor has a recreation of landmark buildings from modern athens. The museum building is intresting in it self as it is the building of a very old ceramics factory. (If you have time it combines nicly with the gas factory museum just a block away).

Just a wonderful Greek Culture museum and it has Free entrance!!! Right near the Acropolis area. free entrance here
Would like to give it more stars: the Haridimos/Charidimos Shadow Puppet exhibition on the ground floor is extensive. The travelodge upstairs is beautiful. The staff were very polite and friendly. However, nothing is written in English. Good to spend half an hour admiring the art.
Το Πέτρινο κτηριο τού παλαίου πηλοποιίου(καπελάδικο)του Πουλόπουλου,στα Πετράλωνα,κάτω απ'ο το Θησείο Ενα διαμάντι πού στεγάζει την παράδοση,της Ιστορίας τού Καραγκιόζη!!(στον εισόγειο χώρο).Όμορφες σκηνές της Αθηναϊκής συνοικίας, τού μεσοπολέμου, καί πριν!!(άνω όροφο). Ανεπιφύλακτα το προτείνω, στούς, ονειροπόλους,και λάτρεις,τών αναμνήσεων!!! Η ΆΞΙΑ ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗΣ ΈΚΘΕΣΗ ΑΣΠΡΟΜΑΥΡΗΣ ΦΩΤΟΓΡΑΦΙΑΣ του Βασίλη Αρτίκου,φιλοξενείτε στον πρώτο όροφο
Ακριβώς δίπλα από το κέντρο ένας πραγματικά αξιόλογος προορισμός για μικρούς και μεγάλους. Πάρα πολύ ζεστή ατμόσφαιρα
Αν αξίζει για ένα πράγμα ιδιαίτερα αυτός ο ιδιαίτερος χώρος είναι η ιστορική έκθεση στο θέατρο σκιών. Εδώ μπορεί κανείς να μάθει τα πάντα για τον Καραγκιόζη.
Όμορφος χώρος, διατηρετέο ιστορικό κτίριο δυστυχώς όμως γεμάτος graffiti
