I love this place in Athens. There are a lot of people, street music, café, restaurants and celebrated atmosphere. You can feed pigeons here and watch excellent views. Nice place for relaxation and rest. Fun place.

One of the most vibrant place in Athens, full of life. Form here you can go to the Acropolis, Museums with many interesting artifacts exhibitions. Go shopping around buy souvenirs, cheking out the Monastiraki Flea Market and have a good lunch at one of those local restaurants.

One of the best places for tourists in Athens, the Monastiraki Square has a special charm because it seems wide, but still humming with people taking pictures or wandering through the narrow streets full of shops and bargains. The old church has a memorable shape, but it's difficult to renovate it in the old style, the buildings around it are nice, small and intimate. The variety of souvenirs, clothes, hats and colonials makes your head spin...or maybe there's too much sun. A street full of terraces gives you too many meal choices to make up your mind. Nice walk, nice shopping, nice eating :)

The best meeting spot in the city. I recommend a visit to the local shops and Athens Flee Market and while you are at it, pay a visit to the local food shops for a taste of Greek souvlaki! You will not regret it!

It is a public market of sorts, surrounded by many stores and restaurants. The metro station is right next to the place. Extremely easy access by metro. There is usually some sort of public singing or activities that are performed with bycycle. Highly recommended to visit this place as it is always crowded and a nice place to meet new people.

Lively square with an abundance of restaurants and a wonderful atmosphere. Sights like Hadrian's Library is a stone's throw away. There is also views of the Acropolis up above looking over the square.
