If nature, animals and tranquility appeal to you then I’d recommend visiting here for respite from the city. There is a pond with a miniature waterfall and ducks and a smaller isolated pond for turtles - please be respectful of the animals! You can also sit on the grass and relax or find plenty of benches dotted around. There is even a canopy-style walkway to enjoy some shade or take photos as some people have done here.

It can be a heaven on earth. It can be a jewel at Athens' crown. But it is a stand still for decades. Until its restoration - reformation you can enjoy the sounds of birds and streams and the sound of the wind through the trees. Ethnikos kipos national garden something you can walk through and enjoy safely in the heart of Athens. Enjoy.

So cool place to rest a bit! You can have a walk or read some book next to beautiful fountain. Park is clean and well kept. One of not many places in Athens where you can sit and relax in peace and quiet.

The garden is beautiful. Adults and children liked us. It has a pond, playground and some animals. It's nice to spend an hour there.

Open every day until sunset and free to enter. There are a few small ponds filled with fish, ducks and turtles. There's also a zoo inside which is an enclosure for goats, rabbits, peacocks, ducks, chickens and some parrots. A metro/tram stop is near. A nice place to sit down and relax a bit.

An excellent place to visit alone or with friends. With a cup of coffee for a break, for contemplation, for pretty much everything. Especially during the lockdown, if you're lucky enough to live in the centre of Athens. Enjoy! (You can also spend sometime online to find out about its history, you'll be surprised!).

Simply beautiful, well worth a visit as its a cool place to have a stroll. In the heart of the city but away from the hussle and bussle of the Athens daily life. Enough peoe around to feel safe but still plenty of benches to sit and reflect in.
