The worst transportation service in any European capital. The schedule times have always a 5 minute or more delay. Also the buses are always packed in the extent that you can’t breathe and the frequency of the most buses is 30-40 minutes. Therefore if you are not 20 minutes earlier in the metro station that directs you to airport you are most certainly going to miss it. Awful.

Awful! Both the man in the airport ticket office and the one in the Syntagma Square airport bus office, mumbled loudly in Greek what I assume was an insult, super displeased at our intention to understand the ticket system. Haven't received this kind of treatment anywhere we went. I get it that tourists are the plague, but they bring money.

Πιο ανοργανωσιά δεν υπάρχει πάνω στην Γη. Μόνο ο... σεκιουριτάς δίνει πληροφορίες, που προσπαθεί φιλότιμα, υπεύθυνος δεν υπάρχει και δεν ξέρει κανένας την τύφλα του. Εξυπηρετούν μόνο συγκεκριμένες ημέρες και αυτό το ξέρουν μόνον αυτοί, γιατί έτσι τους γουστάρει. Πας εκεί και σε διώχνουν, έτσι απλά.
Πήγαμε για επανέκδοση κάρτας συγγενή τρίτης ηλικίας που εκλάπη μαζί με πορτοφόλι. Οι άνθρωποι ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικοί. Αφιέρωσαν αρκετό χρόνο προσπαθώντας να μαντέψουν το PIN της προηγούμενης κάρτας για να μην χαθούν τα αχρησιμοποίητα κόμιστρα της προηγούμενης. Δυστυχώς δεν τα κατάφεραν. Το σύστημα θα έπρεπε να είναι καλύτερο, επιτρέποντας τροποποίηση της βάσης δεδομένων τους από κάποιον του ΟΑΣΑ με δικαιώματα διαχειριστή. Οι άνθρωποι πάντως κάναν ότι καλύτερο μπορούσαν εντός του περιορισμένου συστήματος.
