The same scam everyone else mentioned. I had to let them take a color copy of my card and sign a release that I was "freely paying the charge" of 170 euros. Large bouncer in back of me. Had my bank cancel my card and fought the charge and won. Guys: if you fall for it, FIGHT THE CHARGE! It is indeed signing under duress. It's deception.
Be careful about this place! One old man talked with me in front of Acropolis Museum. It seemed to be a good man. We had a good conversation. He showed me this bar and said that we can have a drink. Finally I paid 65 Euro here for 3 drinks, one for myself, one for him, and the other one for the waiter girl working in the bar. This was a dramatically high price in Greek. Obviously it was a old trick I had unsuccessfully avoid. As a foreigner here, I decided to pay this bill for safety. This was a terrible place.
An old guy, the “owner”, plays cool with you in the streets and invites you to see his bar. He takes you to the bar, orders a beer for you and they pop it open without even letting you see the price. They wanted me to pay 10 for one beer. I’m glad I didn’t fall for that scam.
Same story old guy who look weird told that he has a brother in my country and were there for seventeen times then told me that he own a place where is playing music, when we came in front of the club there was a bodyguard and inside were few ladies, he tell one of them to pour me something but then I was fully convinced this is the scam, that I read about and said that I don't want anything to drink and I got to go. Hopefully I didn't pay anything. Be careful guys.

Same story.. old man that couldn’t have been nicer asked me to have a drink with him. Being it’s Greece I thought it was just a nice local. The second I walked in I knew nothing looked right or matched up. Looked at the menu, told him I knew it was a scam and walked right out. Why would a older Greek man go to a club at 1 in the afternoon. Guy gives Greeks a bad reputation. Poor girls looked like they were forced to be there. Just avoid this area all together.
