You can pay to go in if you want but I valued seeing it from outside. You can see it all from outside the fence anyway. Definitely a must to stop and admire - about 2000 years of history!

The Roman Agora is an amazing place that offers a very good look on the everyday life of Roman Athenians, a place suitable for the whole family. Totally recommended!

Amazing to see this historical monument, which was on my bucket list! Actually I did not go inside due to lack of time, but just saw it from through the gates, but still it was a great view! This was a stop on the free \Rick Steves Athens City Walk\ audio which I was listening to. He talked us through the rich history which made seeing it all the more meaningful. The audio tour is available for free download online so I highly recommend when visiting Athens!

Also a must after your trip to the Acropolis and the Partenon, but it's a quick tour and I would prefer some more explanations and maybe a few representations of how it was before (in this day and age, maybe some 3D rendering or holograms? Just a few ideas.). But don't miss it, anyway.

After seeing acropolis it’s nothing special but if you don’t go up the mountain this is cool

Roman agora is an archaeological site with a picturesque street market around, very nice for a walk. It's under the Acropolis and near Monastiraki and Plaka. A must visit place of Athens.

Beautiful ancient ruins with iconic architectures from byzantine and ottoman empires. Entry to this place is via the Roman Forum of Athens. Tickets are 4 in winter and 8 in summer. Its a good deal in the winter. Good place for visiting to get a glimpse of ancient ruins and lifestyle. It will be a short visit because there isnt much up for viewing.
