Is well organized, a lot of artifacts and an honor to the Jewish people and faith.
Great place to visit while on vacation. Learn about the rich Grecian Jewish history which pans thousands of years back. With interesting artifacts and various modern ideas, this museum delivers a powerful message as well as an entertaining tour. Built in a modern fashion it houses the years of Jewish history in a captivating chronological order. Highly recommended.
Small but fascinating, telling the history of Jews in Greece from the Hellenistic period (good) to Hitler (bad). Worth visiting.
A unique museum in the center of Athens. The neoclassical facade of the building hides an octagon spiral staircase. There are some exhibition displays that house objects of worship and not only. The staff is friendly and ready to explain and to help you. A very informative museum about the life of the Jewish of Greece. They organise quite often interesting events. Worth a visit.
6 entrance, nice exhibitions but not enough light on them. Good & polite reception lady. They have only big book of the museum cost 25 but wight 1 kilo!! Don't have post card of the museum only exhibitions. This Museum is very important about the jewish history in Greece!
You could pass by this museum without noticing but you’d be missing out. The small but informative museum gives the essential history of a population that was all but decimated during WWII. Jews lived in Greece and were a part of Greek culture for centuries. This needs to be celebrated and remembered. Try going without crying. It’s impossible!
Hidden gem well worth a visit . Nice video of survivors recounting their stories.
