Great expedition , very close view, on your way to the park and nicely shaded.

For tourists visiting the National Gardens, it is advisable to stop at this ancient antiquities open exhibition on their way from the beautiful Zappeion building to the temple of Olympian Zeus. One can see and admire everything from the walking path on the side and also realize that the excavations and research are constantly in progress. The site is not very big but interesting.

Very cool spot to see on your way through Athens. This is an ongoing excavation that you can view from the sidewalk. There are signs that tell you all about it.
