Beautiful building full on interesting pieces. My favourite part was in the basement level, but all in all I liked the experience. They check the temperature before entering just to make sure that you are not sick, which made me feel even more safe even though everyone was wearing masks.

The building is fab and the contemporary artwork is varied and interesting. Its defiantly worth visiting. 8 entry. The only negatives are that the staff are rather sturn and seem to almost follow you around when a room is empty. Also, there is no description for the artworks apart from the name of the artist and what its made out of and the title which is a real shame. There is an app called Smartify which they encourage you to download. It only gives you selected artworks though and they are not in order of room so it's a minefield and didn't work for me. Tate Modern in London has a new system where you scan the QR code on entry to the exhibition and then you tap the name of the artwork onto your phone and you hear a description of it - seamless, modern and informative.

Worth a visit; however, the curation of the space needs some work. It honestly hindered my experience in the museum. Only a small handful of the works have descriptions or artist statements. This meant that most works lack context, translations and explanations. You can download an app and scan paintings to learn more about the work; however, the descriptions were not helpful at all- just copy pasted bios about the artist. Rarely did it have any information about the actual artwork you were wanting to know more about. Their COVID safety is great though! They temperature check everyone on arrival, require masks, and limit the number of visitors in certain spaces.

Art is always up to the person who looks at it. Hence I can not judge the set inside BUT the museum itself. I liked the history of the museum being considered a nomadic one until they found a fixed place. They are very advanced and the architecture is very cool. I like going to contemporary museums and this one surprised me very positively. I would not have expected it that good.

It is a new museum housed in a former Fix brewery. The building is quite nicely renovated and spacious. The museum itself is close to the more popular Acropolis museum and central Athens. I quite liked the permanent exhibitions and in particular the video rooms. The adult entry price is 8 euro which is a fair price for the art on display. A bit disappointed with the shop which in my opinion could have provided more choice and the closure of the onsite coffee shop however the later is probably due to COVID-19. Overall would recommend for modern art aficionados and people wanting to look at more than ancient rocks and statues.

Very thought provocative museum. It focuses a lot on the interaction between art and politics with many of the exhibits having a more or less political tone. The view from the top is quite astounding.

The permanent art collection is dark and politically focused. The staff hover over you as though you're there to touch the art. Not to my personal taste. Entry is cheap 4 for students. The descriptions of art do not provide any information or context of the work. Some video content / pieces are close together so you can't hear the work very clearly.
