Very beautiful but trains are sometimes late and there are LOTS of homeless people that will try to steal your money.
Careful here. Plenty of, who I presume, homeless children and adults will try and \assist\ and \help\ you but they will attempt to cancel your ticket purchase just to grab the money and run. My girl and I were keen on watching and caught them as they tried blocking of their attempt to successfully take the money.
One of the best stations of the whole Athens Public Transit network. Likewise Monastiraki, it's a great place gathering tourists, or locals who are coming and going in the nearby cafés and bars, found at Apostolou Pavlou sidewalk.
