This is actually a centuries-old byzantine church, although its historical character wad ruined by 19th century vandals, er architects. On the inside it's a very charming, serene space with beautiful, albeit modern hagiographies. The streets nearby have lots of street art.
Some of the finest metal 'Oklad' covers I've seen. These are the sculpted metal covers of icons, usually in silver, brass, bronze, tin or gold. Also called 'Riza', the Greeks call them επένδυση . The shimmering metal gives this church a very mystical feel, especially the golden ones at the end of the church.

Ιστορική και παλιά Εκκλησία,περιβάλλεται απο την ομώνυμα πλατεία η οποία έχει πλήθος τραπεζοκαθισμάτων στις μπροστινές πλευρές της...
Μια εκκλησία γεμάτη κατάνυξη!!! Αυτό μεταδίδεται στους πιστούς που παρακολουθούν την θεία λειτουργία!!! Πολύ ωραία η αγιογραφίες στους τοίχους!!!
Εκτός του ναού υπάρχει το σπίτι του Παπαδιαμάντη
