I visited the store in Dec 2019 to exchange an unwanted Xmas present bought by my brother. The present came in a sealed paper bag containing a carton box advertising 3 products. Box was not opened at all as i was not keen on this brand. BUT when box was actually opened in the store whilst returning it, only two of the items were actually in the box. The bag was sealed with the store's owned sealing tape. It is obvious that the error originated from the store, meaning that they might have accepted a defective product from their supplier. The sales assistant confirmed that none of the other boxes had missing items. Which led us to the conclusion that the 3rd product was removed from the box intentionally by one of the sales assistants (theft) or was mistakenly removed from the box and unethically sold seperately charging both customers full price. The missing item would show as an unaccounted add up on the store's stock quantity indicating the store's error but the sales manager didnt want to do this check. I wonder why... ? long story short; i was not allowed to return this item. All in all, i will NOT be a returning customer to this store due to the unprofessional manner that this situation was dealt with. I would therefore warn returning customers to be very wary of the packaged products before proceeding to the till.
