made a last minute booking and the dive shop happily accommodated me. The dive shop is run by 2 Greek navy officers, as nice as they'd come. They paid particular attention to customer service, did everything for us. I ran out of pages in my log book and they just gave me one! They also emailed me 100 photos they took during our dive, which was totally unexpected. excellent service and experience all around!

My girlfriend and i did two very nice dives with Royal Octopus. We had a great time exploring the local reef, some small caves including a bat cave. The dive shop and the equipment is in very good condition. It was a pleasure to dive with George and Panos! Highly recommend this dive base.
Went for a boat trip, snorkeling and diving with the team today. They couldn't have been more helpful and enjoyable to be with. I had the best diving experience with calm seas, great visibility and lots to see. Highly recommended.
It was perfect. I and my girlfriend did the course "Discover scuba dive" and it was really perfect. Very good teachers and even better persons. Extremely kind.
Truly magnificent experience. They treated you good and are really professionals. I recommend this place whoever visit nearby and want some extra for holidays. They even pick up from the hotel and brought back. Stars 5/5.
I took the Discover Scuba Diving-experience, and it was absolutely wonderful! I booked via their website, and got a response very fast (even though it was off-season, and many other touristic attractions were already closed, or did not bother to reply to my mails). When I arrived at the centre, George and Panos were very both very friendly. George was my instructor, and he explained everything very clearly. Then we drove to the Afrata beach. First we did some exercises in shallow water, to get used to the equipment. Then we went out into the water. And it was amazing! George pointed out the beautiful fish, shells, sponges,.. This is really the best way to see all the (underwater) beauty Crete has to offer! What I also really liked, is that George has taken photos of the trip underwater, which make for a nice souvenir! If you do one thing in Kolymbari, make sure this is it!
all around amaizing, very friendly staff, professional equipment, it was my first time and i felt really comfortable. i tough that it would be hard seeing as i am a child but it was very easy and soooo much funnnn great visibility and perfect experience
Had two great dives with George and Panos last week. Friendly, professional, safe and interesting dive sites. The equipment is excellent and nearly new and everything is just easy and fun. Can't wait for the next dives... hopefully soon. Thanks guys.
