Wonderful experience back in October. The best food I’ve had in Chania by far. We had mussels, an aubergine dish, a pasta dish with truffles I believe and others. All very tasty. Great service, lovely environment and ambience. Highly recommended!

Everything about this place is excellent! Unlike most of the establishments along the old Venetian Harbour, this place isn't just another tourist trap. By any standard, Salis is a world class restaurant, from the quality and innovation of its dishes, to it's extensive international wine list. The best thing about it, however, is the service. The waiters are extremely professional but friendly and helpful, taking time to make food and wine recommendations and explain in detail everything about the menu. The food menu itself is short and simple but packed with beautifully innovative modern Greek dishes with a twist. Highly recommend the octopus carpaccio, and the deconstructed pastitsio starters!
Best restaurant in the city. Please try the aubergine. The only pity is they had run out of feta ice-cream.
What a gem right in the heart of the harbour. Stylish, modern, exquisite. Warm and personal service. Locally sourced ingredients, actually the source is listed on the menu. We went there almost every day during our two weeks stay, we could not fault it. Each and every time the experience was so great that we just couldn't go anywhere else. The extensive menu offers amazing choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The friendly service made us feel at home immediately. The tomato salad is the best we ever had and the grilled octopus never tasted as good anywhere else. Incredible wine list. The Michelin level experience in an elegant but very casual setting. Already missing it so much. Thank you to everyone at Salis for making our holiday even more special.
Great experience, nice and caring staff, delicious and extremely interesting food! If you’re hesitating I recommend trying the Namelaka desert. The best desert I’ve had in my live! It’s made of white chocolate, pistachio nuts and passion fruit mousse. Incredibly good!
Probably the best food i had in Crete. It was so unique, the place is very beautiful too and although it is in a touristy area it does not feel like all the other restaurants around. You need to try the taramasalata and the Sea bass. They have a very good selection of wine from Crete and the world, I would strongly recommend to try the Cretan wine with the delicious dishes. We got a selection of mezze platters, which was a good choice
Really really good, the food was excellent and the staff so welcoming. The style of the place is really cool and works really well. This is a gem in Chania, can't recommend it enough. We were a family of 4, 2 under 10s
They nailed it! One of those rare places that managed to modernize Greek cuisine without spoiling it! With a twist but very tasty. All veggies & greens are exceptionally fresh and delicious. Great view and location. Well done guys! Vine list is outstanding. Staff - professional & friendly
