Best Beach in Hersonisos. Lovely sandy beach with sunbeds 10 for 2 with a parasol and water bowl for feet. Gently shelving into sea and stays shallow quite far out. Windy and lots of waves when we visited. Great fun. Food in restaurant / snack bar good and reasonable for beach side. Highly recommended.. less full on than Star Beach next door. Update... Visited 4 times now during our holiday. Best Raki in Hersonisos, food lovely. Baguettes and salads especially nice. And homegrown grapes for dessert.
The greatest service- all of the waiters. Helpful, thinking and super friendly - respect! Thank you so much for making our beach day so nice. The food was very tasty, too.

We had a great stay at meltemi beach. Great beach bar and beach with perfect service by the family. If you stay at Crete this spot is certainly a place to go.
