Stumbled across this place after driving around and turning down random roads. We were welcomed into this workshop with open arms and were unexpectedly given a full tour! Such a cool place and some really special pieces of art. These are the things I chose to take home to New Zealand with me! I will treasure them forever.

Stopped at this pottery shop during a road trip with friends around the island. The selection is amazing and had to keep reminding myself that I’d need to carefully pack the items we bought. My only regret is not remembering how the wine “pitcher” worked...we tried with water but obviously did something wrong. The birds are really cool and we did recall how to make them whistle. And I wish we had purchased some of the other pieces.
Very cool demonstration of the ancient pitcher that holds wine and is filled by syphoning and the Justice wine cup. A nice stop while visiting the island if you have a rental car. Owners Mother is a sweet lady
