Clean station, although far from the town. The ticket master is friendly and can help you call a taxi. The toilets are free, like everywhere else in Greece but unfortunately there is no source of drinking water. The ticket master remains there nearly all day and can be contacted to purchase tickets or for enquiries. One can also walk towards the sea, cross the road and carefully get down to a very lovely and empty pebble beach.

Standard sad Greek train station. No information on wherein trains are going so make sure you ask when your purchase your ticket. Also beware of the dog I came around the corner and it was viciously barking at me, I actually fell to the ground.
Helpful staff. You can ask them anything you need. He gave us train schedule for Thessaloniki and Larissa with both times of departure and return trains. Dog is scary, but he was locked inside the station when we were there. You can pay with card also. The only problem is that it is little out of reach. If you wanna come on foot need to take the Larissa-Leptokaria road-busy, cars don't usually respect speed limit, and than go through the field towards the station. Or take a taxi-around 12 euros from Litochoro.

От этой станции до города только пешком. Автобусов и другого транспорта нет. Может повезет найти такси(
Πωπω... απο που να αρχισω!!! Ο σιδηροδρομικός σταθμός ειναι στη μεση του πουθενά. Και για την πλακα λοτοχωρου αλλα και για το χωριό Λιτόχωρο χρειαζεσαι απο κει μεταφορικό μεσο αλλιως 1ωρα περιπου δρομος με τα ποδια κ στις 2περιπτώσεις. Λεωφορειο αστικό ή βαν δεν υπαρχει για να μεταφερθεις απο εκει, οπότε αν εισαι τυχερος θα βρεις ταξι έξω απο τον σταθμό. Πληροφοριες και δρομολογια για αναχωρησεις ή αφίξεις δεν υπαρχουν ανερτημενες. Στο γκισε υπαρχει καποιος που κουτρουκλάει σ ενα στοιχιωμένο σταθμό. Αν διψασεις ή αν πεινασεις δεν υπαρχει αναψυκτηριο... ΑΤΜ γιοκ. Πινακίδες σ ολη τη διαδρομη απο σταθμο για πλακα και αντιστροφα που θα σε καθοδηγουν δεν υπαρχουν. Εκει ο χρονος εχει σταματησει κ νυχτεριδες κ αραχνες γλυκια μου εχουν κυριέυσει το μερος. Θελουν και τουρισμό εκει τρομάρα τους. Με τι υποδομές ρε ζώα
