A wonderful place that has a beautiful monument, but there is a crowded car near it, difficult to reach by pedestrian road, but if you are in Athens I advise you to visit it, it is wonderful.

It's definitely worth seeing if you're in Greece. When I visited with my girlfriend there was a festival going on and it was a blast. There are quite a few restaurant around it with lovely food. The street is a bit dangerous though, be mindful when crossing the streets.

It is a beautiful Monument at the center of Athens. It is in a nice opening area located in the round about in front of the Stanley hotel. It is a good place to sit and rest here, and a lot of pigeons you can feed them and enjoy watching them.

This monument is in the middle of a round-about. It is located in front of The Stanley Hotel across the road. At night it is a nice resting place.

Not exactly what one might think its a statue of Icarus falling to earth.

Strikingly beautiful monument both representing the myth of Icarus who flew too close to the sun as well as fallen aviators during the war.
