Incredible ruins of the ancient city of Philippi, founded by Philip II of Macedon. You can enjoy the museum as well. A must. An incredible and not very well known place in Greece.

This historical site is great place to learn and just be amazed of what people could build many years ago. There are many signs with some information about this place. The beautiful sculptures and art are in museum, which is part of the site
It will take about 30 minutes to get up non-stop, in a warm weather take some water with you, the closest place to buy is the wending machine in the museum.
Not too many details on what the different places were. Good photos though, love to know their history
