KALLIPATIRA is an athletic association whose mission is to promote the spirit of athletism and fair play, to support athletes in need and to strengthen sports infrastructure. In accordance with its mission, KALLIPATIRA organizes athletic and cultural events and campaigns against doping. Purpose of the Association is to foster, disseminate and promote the Olympic ideals and sports in general, according to the fair play principles. The promotion of women's sports and the promotion of them in sport Committees, the empowerment of sports for people with disabilities and to promote the principles of the Paralympic movement, the empowerment of the sport for people with intellectual disabilities, the solidarity among athletes of any sport by providing care and aid to those athletes that are in need, the development of charitable activity/charity and acts of solidarity aiming to help and support individuals and groups that suffer or are threatened by social exclusion or group of people that are in need. Finally, the provision of emergency humanitarian, food and development assistance to the population of the developing countries, to contribute to economic and social development of these countries, as well as organizing all kinds of cultural and social events, and the participation of the association in similar events organized by third parties in order to promote these objectives. To promote the idea and the ideals of volunteering work and to promote the above goals of the association. Furthermore, one of the main purposes of the Association is to organize seminars and meetings, sports as well as cultural and social events. It focuses on the participation of the association’s members in sports events and games, the development of cooperation and solidarity (ideals) among its members.
