relaxing place. nice view from the castle. from one side you can see karitena 's village and from the other side the river.
The castle itself is mostly destroyed but the view up there is fantastic.
Great for weeknd excursions and more! Many activities to do! Hiking rafting etc... Amazing food also! Must visit
After Karitaina following the road to West one crosses a modern bridge but underneath there is an old Frankish bridge with 4 remaining arches. A tiny chapel is crowning the middle pier. You can walk to it on a stairway from the river Alpheius. A beautiful site !

Breathtaking view. The hike to get there can prove challenging though, so wear appropriate shoes.
Nice climbing, great views. Condition though could be better. Especially with the European Union funding. Pavements, walls, doors, crow'snest... Pity. Greek management in project financing, ends always in managers pockets. Please improve for 4 stars or when perfect it for 5.
