Cretan Eagle Aviation Ltd. was established by Mr George Kelarakis in 2002 and is based at "Nikos Kazantzakis" International Airport in Heraklion Crete Greece. Cretan Eagle Aviation School has professional experience and regimentation in every sector such as instructors with high work experience , free legal services for our students ( preparation of all the documentation for visa) ,great facilities , accommodation ect .We are able to form small groups of students for more effective transmission of knowledge. Our Company Owner and Head of Training Mr George Kelarakis highly trained in England is an experienced Flying Instructor with over 5000 hours logged. The flight training takes place over the beautiful island of Crete and surrounding islands like Karpathos, Santorini and others. Due to our island’s geographical position, basically in the middle of Europe, Asia and Africa and the great “flying” weather almost year round, there is a great opportunity for student pilots from Europe, Asia and Africa to get their Licence and or add Build-Up hours on their way to become a professional pilot. The great weather of Crete is a real advantage, respect other European places , which enables us to fly almost all year round and the many beautiful Greek Islands (like Santorini – 65 miles) that surround us and we are able to fly for training. Our focus is to provide the best possible training for very combative prices with our attention to personable environment for all of our students.
