Glorious taverna with home made and totally locally sourced food! Tsigariasto goat and lamb with myzithra as well as kalitsounia with local herbs and local ice cream with ship’s milk were the top guns

A perfect taverna with the best lamb and mizitra cheese in Crete, high up in the mountain and in the evenings gets a bit cold.The road up is one of the most picturesque and challenging in europe.
