In April 1998, CBK fulfilled all the requirements laid down by the Bank of Greece to start functioning as a fully regulated Credit Institution. A milestone for the Bank was the special license acquired in 2007 allowing transactions also with non-members and transforming the Bank to an important development tool for the Karditsa Prefecture with solutions for all borrowing needs of local citizens.
