Nice and silent place. There is a Taverna but I did not use it. The problem is how to get there. With an offroad bike like me it was just fun but the road is made of gravel, rough, narrow and a true challenge with a car. Would not recommend it. And my bike renter did strongly advice against going there.
I came to Karpathos at the end of September to avoid the crowds and at Agios Minas Beach I was served! It’s very secluded as it is toward the north and also hard to reach (like 2-3 km of dirt one lane mountain road! I had a dirt bike and it was quite smooth (be carefull with the strong, VERY strong, lateral wind). Possible also with 2wd cars. Maybe not by scooter! The effort is worth it: the beach is not too windy, the water clear and two tavernas are at hand surrounded by many olive trees! I recomend Anemos Sunrise, run by Minas and Jennifer. Amazing food and local vibes! During high season there will be also sunbeds, but not at the end of september! Anyway, if you look for a nice and calm beach, definitely recomended!
Secluded beautiful beach with crystal clear and warm waters. Downside, the road to get there is kinda tough. You can visit with cruise ship though.
Calm and nice place. Very warm water and peaceful beach.
Excellent beach. The access road is covered in gravel and quite steep in some sections. 2 sunbeds and an umbrella are 10 euros for the day. The taverna owner is a nice friendly lady and the food is really tasty.
Amazing beach. The road to the beach is very dangerous and scary. Going there needs lot of attention and careful driving. Not recommended for new drivers
Quiet, clear blue waters, sheltered from the wind, nice taverna for seafood
