Its stunning, you can see some amazing views as soon as you get up there but I would recommend walking the whole way around the walls because there's an amazing like olive Grove inside the walls of the castle, there was barely anybody there and it was just beautiful and serene. The climb up is not easy though, and not safe I would say, so be careful.

Great views and worth the climb

Great views from a castle with loads of history and never fell to an invading army. Short steep unmade path up from the village, and there are very little people around. Nice walk around the perimeter with great views. There is no information or guides, hence not five stars.

Looks impressive from the harbour when you look up to it and only a short walk up to it. Nothing there though other than the old walls. Would of been nice if the there where some information boards dotted around giving you the history of it etc.

Incredibly beautiful place with fantastic views. Fabulous sea, beautiful castle. Very interesting place, be sure to visit. There is something to look for, there is something to look at. Visiting this beauty will give you a lot of positive emotions and wonderful memories for life.

Eu money not well spent, castle is a tumble down mess, in floor lighting all way round castle primiter every one brocken or smashed, fire equipment every 25 meters all brocken and usless. Pathways dangerus and unkempt, nothing to recomend about this place. Corfu and Greek goverment should be ashamed of taking EU grant money, who actually belives it costs 1 million euros for stationary and 12 million to install lights, EU should check work done. Ps if you are even slightly disabled forget attempting a visit.

When we are in Kassiopi we always head for the castle. The walk up can be a bit treacherous but it is worth it for the coolness inside the walls and from the olive trees. Once inside the views never dissapoint.

Ruin of an old fortress, mostly a wall you can walk along, nice views every now and then, nothing to enter an no information, not tidy but also not touristy at all. But a a cool mysterious place, nice for a walk. Only one way in/out, unfortunately you can't go down to the beach but have to walk back through the city.
