Basically this place is a representation/modeling of a prehistoric society near this place 7.5k years ago. As the original village, this one is build by or in the lake (you can see the water right down your feet at the furthest establishments. It shows the building materials for the houses as well as all the wooden or rocky tools that people used at that time (metals like iron were not discovered yet). It's not fully developed but this place aspires too be a live museum of a society long long gone.

Worth a visit. The short tour is interesting and cool to see. The kids enjoyed it too. The guide did sound like a prerecorded explanation but it was still interesting information. If you need a short activity thats close to Kastoria then this is a good option

Reconstruction of Neolithic settlement that, combined with the guide's provided information, proved quite interesting. It's support helps further the efforts of archaeologists in the area that may actually change the commonly accepted belief of when written language first appeared.

A reconstruction of a late Neolithic settlement at the site of excavation. You will be accompanied by a professional archaeologist as your guide. Certainly a place to visit if you want to know what Greece looked like before the Greeks
