A trail through a farm park, telling the story of Odysseus. 6 for adults and 4 for kids. There are lots of sheep, goats, ponies, birds etc. and models of events in the Odyssey. Information boards are in Greek and English and you can buy books of the stories in various language when you enter. The snack bar is OK but they didn't take cards and were short of change. Would be amazing for 3-6 year olds.

The idea of the place is good. Learn history and see animals through a walk in sth like a pet farm. However, the space for some of the animals was inadequate and some animals should not be there to begin with i e the parrots and deer. Having asked if the animals are left to roam freely after a certain time, the answer was that only the deer were. The rest had to wait to be taken to a proper farm in winter... The animals did look well and taken care of, but having space and freedom are also things to be seriously considered.
Located in Sami, this new theme zoo park is a must visit for kids and adults. The theme revolves around the epic journey of Odusseas to return to his home (Ithaca) after the Trojan war. Visitors get to know the story behind his journey and see the different animals during his trip. The statues/figures have attention to detail and the animals look clean and well taken care of. An excellent place that was missing in Cephalonia.

Great, absolutely loved it. It's great for just chilling and enjoying the view.
Nice little zoo to bring your kids to, good location, but the "theme park" side is a bit laughable. Facilities are lacking, too.
Nice little place for kids to get in touch with Greek mythology, the cafe as great service and the self-made ice cream is great too (strawberry is my favorite), finally great wifi with 25mbps up & down
