We had such an amazing experience in this museum during our summer stay in Rhodes. The museum is a small, family business. Everybody in there was welcoming, friendly and the exhibition was beyond interesting, we could have experienced real-life in Rhodes as it was years and years ago. I highly recommend visiting this place and its friendly environment and people - thank you for the unforgettable experience!

In August 2019, I went to the museum twice since the botanical historical, geographical and religious , information provided by the owner was phenomenal. The depth of information provided for all natural plants was detailed using real plant samples. The owner was very generous in providing information for the Ottoman, Italian and German occupation. Great exhibition showing great artifacts. Living in a big city like Toronto where the museums are great, I was stunned at the quality of the information and exhibits provided by the museum and the owner. His English was very good. Bravo. When in Rhodos, I recommended the Rodos Nature - Folklore Museum.

This was a wonderful discovery from which we've learnt about many interesting things about the local flore and faune and Rhodes' history with Italy. Absolute gem outside the fuzzy touristic town of Rhodes.

Me and my husband visited this museum on our trip to Rhodes. It's small but has such a good collection of authentic pieces of Rhodes history, as well as collection of plants. It's a museum run by a family, and we were greated with big smiles and a small tour around the place. I definitely recommend this place if you're around.

This is very very interesting place and owner is very friendly, communicative, I learned everything essential about the island of Rhodes, especially fauna, flora, hystory of all kinds from agriculture through the occupation of the island by foreign troops, money, weapons. Very interesting listening and the owner claimed that the collection also contains items from his family.

Owner of the museum was really happy to see us and he had a lot of information to every exponat. Very friendly, whole musem is air conditioned and the price is great.
